WOW!!!! What a blessed weekend! Well, as an Intercessor, I truly did learn the IMPORTANCE and POWER of intercessory prayer. Although I have always known it was important....this time, it went to another level for me!

This was my second time to serve at a CS Retreat. The first one, I felt a little unprepared, but this time I felt much more confident and prepared. I had been given many tools and resources to help me along the way! I was equipped and ready to battle whatever the enemy was going to try to do.

It was Friday night, and I stood at the front of the row leading the participants to their Anointers for ministry, I looked out and noticed that their seemed to be a spirit of reluctancy or a spirit of refusal. It just seemed that Holy Spirit was telling me to pray for whatever it was that holding the participants back from receiving their breakthrough and freedom. I called my Captain, who was Stephanie Tausch, and told her what I believed the Holy Spirit was sharing with me. She immediately was in agreement and said I will start praying too. She went to her position and we both began to pray. Almost IMMEDIATELY, that spirit seemed lifted and one woman in particular I noticed began to receive her breakthrough and freedom! It was an amazing experience! It's beautiful to see a participant walk up for ministry with this burden but see a totally different person walk away because they have been set free!

God has a plan for EVERYONE!!! No matter who or what you've done. He will use you and all those experiences too! He is using me....ME....in ways I would never have imagined or dreamed of. To God be the glory!!!

I pray that, at some point, everyone in our Fortress Family, will experience CS as a participant. And as they experience that FREEDOM they will want to get involved with their God given talents for CS and experience the same thing that I have as a part of the team!
